I‘ve been noticing that everywhere I go in the last few days people are laughing and happy, a nice change from the tension we’ve all been under for that better part of the year due to long range irrational energies provoked by planets in irrational geometries in our solar system. This summer will yield many forks in the road of our destinies according to the astrological analysis.
The joy and happiness energy that we are feeling this week has to do with the astrological influence of 3 major planets in water signs. Water influences our relational experience and those 3 planets have been in a very harmonious relationship for several weeks. And now we have 3 more planets joining the party in earth signs which are the builders the double pattern requires an integration of the two energies and allows us to utilize all of those energies harmoniously.
A lot of people have been asking me about of the Star of David – Merkaba and I’ve read several posts about how it’s a time to make a wish or set intentions. While I fear for anyone who waits for an event like this to set intentions, I agree that setting intention is a great way to capitalize on the potential in such a rare astrological pattern. Setting energy into motion by creating an intentional pattern of frequency and radiating it out to the collective energy field is something that we can and should be doing moment by moment, so drawing from the heavenly bodies while they are all speaking to one another in harmony is an excellent idea.
What has not been posted is that this is not exactly a one time event and has in fact been in effect off and on since June 4th at 11:11! That is because one of the points that makes up this pattern has been occupied by the ascendant or midheaven of the daily charts anytime Virgo was the sign ruling those points. Now the difference is that this time an actual planet is holding that position; the moon. The moon moves much faster than any of the other planets so within 1 day the moon evacuates its position in the 6th point of the star pattern. That said, we did have an exact alignment on July 29th with all positions held by planets and we will have it again on August 25-26th giving us another opportunity to refine our ideas and intend with an even greater degree of consciousness.
So what is it exactly? The “Great Sextile” + “Grand Trine” = Star Tetrahedron/Merkaba: a series of numerical relationships (also known as aspects) between planets. Aspects are the relationship between 2 planets based on numerical position in a 360 degree circle. When aspects are in harmonious alignment with sacred geometry (the divine patterns found in nature that represent the creative force of life) they are considered “good” or “beneficial”. When they are not in harmonious alignment they are considered “not-so-good” or malefic. The pattern known as the Great Sextile is a combination of 6 planets which are positioned at exactly the degrees that produce a 6 pointed “Star of David” pattern also known in geometries as a “Star Tetrahedron” or “Merkaba” in occult language.
The aspects that complete the pattern are a series of trines (120 degree angles) and sextiles (60 degree angles) both of which are considered to be good or beneficial aspects as the trine is a flowing harmonious energy and the sextile is a bit more dynamic and productive.
Since everyone has a birth chart which identifies the geometry between the planets at the moment of their birth, we all have been affected by this Star of David/Merkaba in varying potencies. Depending on the numerical degrees between the position of the 6 planets in the sky and the 10 planets (plus multiple sensitive points in our birth chart; Ascendant, Mid-heaven, Nodes, etc) we may have even more sacred geometry showing up on a personal level.
Focusing our intention on the areas of our lives that are affected during these times can significantly assist us in making choices and setting intentions that will produce an ease of flow as we approach the forks in the road of our destiny as the larger planetary aspect patterns suggest.
